Hotel ballrooms
Sheraton Grand Sacramento (Downtown)
The flagship Sacramento convention hotel. The Grand Ballroom holds 400–700 guests with room for 15–25 casino tables. Excellent freight elevator access from the loading dock on J Street, experienced banquet staff, and the kind of high-ceiling room that photographs casino tables beautifully. Our most-booked hotel venue for large corporate galas. Holiday season fills by August.
Hyatt Regency Sacramento (Capitol Park)
Across from the State Capitol with sweeping Capitol views. The Regency Ballroom holds 200–500 guests cleanly. Strong load-in logistics, professional banquet team, and a classic Sacramento government-and-law-firm crowd. The Ballroom terrace is a stunning cocktail-hour area before guests move inside for the casino.
The Citizen Hotel (Downtown)
Boutique hotel with the most sophisticated interiors in downtown Sacramento. The Grand Ballroom holds 200–350 guests. More intimate than the Sheraton or Hyatt, with wood-paneled walls and a timeless aesthetic that suits upscale casino setups beautifully. Load-in is straightforward via the parking garage. The Citizen’s rooftop bar Grange pairs well as a cocktail-hour spot before descending to the casino.
Kimpton Sawyer Hotel (Downtown)
The Sawyer event floor is a modern, flexible space with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Downtown. The Pavilion holds up to 400 reception-style. Load-in via the back-of-house freight elevator. One of the top corporate-event hotels in Sacramento with an enthusiastic events team.
Dedicated event venues
Vizcaya (Midtown)
A historic Italian Renaissance-style mansion in Midtown Sacramento. The most romantic venue we work at — vaulted ceilings, original tile floors, garden courtyard. The Grand Ballroom holds 200+ for reception-style events. Load-in is through the carriage entrance on Riverside Drive. Casino setups here photograph like nothing else. Wedding and milestone birthday clients love this venue.
The Sterling Hotel (Midtown)
A Victorian mansion in the heart of Midtown. Intimate event space (capacity up to 150), perfect for smaller upscale casino nights. The ballroom and garden terrace work beautifully for a 4–8 table casino setup paired with cocktails. Excellent for birthday milestone parties and smaller wedding receptions.
Delta King Riverboat (Old Sacramento)
A National Historic Landmark paddlewheel riverboat moored in Old Sacramento. The main deck and upper salon hold 150–200 guests. The riverboat aesthetic is tailor-made for a casino night — it feels like a Mississippi gambling boat from the moment guests board. Load-in is via the gangplank; coordinate with the venue team on table logistics for the narrow entryways.
Sacramento Convention Center
The largest event space in Sacramento. Main exhibit hall holds 500–2,000+ for cocktail-style events. Ideal for large nonprofit galas, government agency events, and major corporate conferences with a casino element. We’ve staffed 20+ table casino floors here. Excellent freight loading; professional venue staff.
Unique venues
Folsom History Museum (Folsom)
A preserved historic building in Old Folsom with exposed brick and hardwood floors. Holds 150–250 for cocktail events. The historic atmosphere makes casino setups feel authentic. Load-in is through the main floor entrance. Popular for Folsom and El Dorado Hills corporate events that want something other than a hotel ballroom.
Granite Bay Golf Club (Granite Bay)
Classic country club ballroom overlooking the course. Holds 200–400 for reception-style events. Excellent freight elevator, experienced catering team, and the open ballroom layout fits casino tables cleanly. Popular for Roseville, Rocklin, and Lincoln corporate events and milestone birthdays.
Gold Hill Vineyard (El Dorado Hills)
A working vineyard with a stunning event barn and outdoor terrace in the El Dorado foothills. Casino nights here under the estate lights are some of our most memorable events. Holds 150–300 outdoors. Weather backup plan is required; we coordinate with the venue on tent setup.
Private Folsom & El Dorado Hills Estates
Many Folsom, El Dorado Hills, Rocklin, and Granite Bay estate homeowners host 50–150 guest casino nights on their pool decks or in custom event tents. Some of our most personalized events. What makes a venue great for casino setups
- Freight elevator or ground-floor load-in. Casino tables weigh 120–240 lbs each. Stairs slow everything down.
- Open floor area. You need 10′ × 10′ per table. A room broken up by columns or fixed furniture is harder to set.
- Power access. Only matters if you’re adding slot machines or DJ-style emcee equipment.
- Coat check and bag storage. Casino events run 3–4 hours; guests want their stuff stored.
- Adequate lighting. Too dim and dealers can’t see chips. Too bright and the room loses atmosphere. Look for venues with dimmable wash lighting.
